Siesta began in a home shared with two very different personalities: an independent Shiba Inu with a highly selective sense of comfort, and a curious Devon Rex who spends his days chasing the warm patches of sunlight across the floor.
Living alongside them taught us a simple truth: our pets don't just occupy space in our homes—they shape the rhythm of our days. Yet, finding everyday essentials that truly respected both their distinct needs and the quiet aesthetic of a modern living space felt surprisingly difficult.
Inspired by the Mediterranean tradition of the siesta—a intentional pause woven into the flow of everyday life—we create tactile, thoughtful objects centered on rest, play, and quiet togetherness. From the weight of a linen cushion to the weave of a striped blanket, every piece is designed with intention. We choose natural textures that age gracefully, understated color palettes that settle softly into any interior, and durable constructions meant to withstand real life—muddy paws, cat naps, and daily washing included.
We reject fast trend cycles and loud visual novelty. Instead, we focus on what lasts: safety, tactile comfort, and timeless simplicity. Because the things we bring into our homes should bring a sense of ease, not noise.
Welcome to our Siesta corner. We hope Siesta brings a little extra warmth and rhythm to your home, too. 💛
