Sizing

A little measuring. A more comfortable fit.

Made for everyday moments together. Find the right fit for your companion with our measuring guide and style-specific size charts.

Finished garment measurements. Neck, chest and length below describe the clothing, not your pet’s body. Allow comfortable room around the chest and neck. Weight is a general guide only.

Use a soft measuring tape while your pet stands naturally on all four paws. Keep the tape level and close to the body without pulling it tight. Take each measurement twice and note it in centimetres. If you use string, measure it against a ruler afterwards.

  1. Chest: Measure all the way around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs. This is your starting point when choosing clothing.
  2. Neck: Measure around the base of the neck, where the neckline of the garment will sit.
  3. Back length: Measure along the spine from the base of the neck to the base of the tail, excluding the tail itself.

Record the actual measurements first. Follow the guidance for the specific style when allowing room for movement.

Choosing the right size

  • Start with the chest, then check the rest. Choose garment chest and neck measurements larger than your pet’s actual measurements, with room for easy movement. Do not choose a tight, exact match. Check the garment length against your pet’s back length for the coverage you prefer.
  • Between sizes? For the Sleeveless Shirt and Striped Polo Shirt, choose the larger size for a more relaxed fit, then check the neck opening and length. If your pet's measurements fall across different sizes, contact us before ordering.
  • Compare a favourite piece. If you have a similar garment that fits well, compare its measurements with the chart. Neck and chest are circumferences, not flat widths.
  • Choosing a sweater? The knit has stretch, but it should not need to be pulled tight to fit. Check the neck opening, chest and length; contact us if you are between sizes.
  • Long body or broad chest? Check each measurement separately. Sizing up for extra length can make the chest or neckline too loose.

A quick comfort check

Once dressed, your pet should be able to walk, sit and lie down naturally. Check that the neckline and armholes do not dig in, the fabric does not pull across the chest, and the hem stays clear of toileting. If the garment restricts movement or slips out of place, reassess the fit.
